Kinelitics SQ30
The squat test, scored on form.
Send us thirty seconds of squatting and we will send back a free report on your client's movement quality and capacity.
What it measures
Lower-body strength endurance, movement depth, alignment control, and how movement degrades under fatigue.
- Good-form repetitions
- Depth quality and consistency
- Alignment and trunk control
- How movement degrades under fatigue
The result is a form-first Squat Index that reflects movement capacity, not just output.
Before you film
The camera
- Film from about 3m to the side of the person squatting
- Hold the device at chest height
- Do not pan, tilt or zoom
The person squatting
- Do as many good-form squats as you can in 30 seconds.
- Stand comfortably, feet shoulder-width apart, toes turned slightly out. Extend the arms straight ahead for balance and hold for two to three seconds.
- Squat as low as is comfortable with good form, return to standing, and pause momentarily.
- Think of sitting back into a chair: arms extended, chest high, back straight, shoulders over the forefeet, knees tracking the toes.
