What you do

Video a test. Get reliable numbers back immediately.

A phone or tablet, a client and a few square metres…

  • No wearables
  • No force plates
  • No set-up
  1. 01

    Choose the tests

Build a battery from validated protocols — Flexibility, Muscle Fitness, Neuromotor Fitness, Cardio-respiratory Fitness, Strength, Power… Or run a single test.

  2. 02

    Video the client

Point the camera and record. The device does the capture; nothing is attached to the person being tested.

  3. 03

    Read the result

Per-rep analysis in seconds — joint angles, depth, tempo, fatigue, symmetry. Ready to show the client before they leave the room.

Both pages of a Kinelitics push-ups assessment. The first scores a Push-Ups Index of 75 from volume 100, quality 91 and tempo 68, places it in the Good band of four, and reports 70 per cent full form, 25 per cent reduced and 5 per cent poor. The second plots a work index for each of 33 repetitions against a rolling average, names three performance limiters — the aerobic-anaerobic transition, pacing and self-regulation, and strength reserve — and gives a recommended training focus under each.
Choosing tests and running a session, and a sample, instantaneous report
An abandoned gym testing space, everything in it under cobwebs and dust: a pair of force plates on the floor with cables trailing away, a row of camera and timing units on tripods receding into the mist, and an open orange equipment case.

The old way.

At scale

Accelerate your workflow.

Because observation, assessment and measurement all happen on one device — not across several instruments, and not on the person — there is no equipment to share and nothing to reset or recalibrate between clients. Test a squad, a class, or a waiting room, in parallel, in the room you are already standing in.

No need for clipboards or transcription either. Evidence-based and scientifically constrained AI on real test results allows instantaneous guidance and prescription.

Test, report and prescribe with confidence, all at once.

What comes back

One test is a number. Ten is a trajectory.

Client history that builds automatically
Results accumulate into a timeline you can show and act on — no manual entry, no transcription.
Change you can trust
Shifts are measured against known test-retest variation. You know when a result has genuinely moved, not just varied.
Three ways to read any result
Against population norms for age and sex. Against the client's own baseline. Against the rest of a squad, class, or caseload.
A Kinelitics Athletic Capacity Index report. A performance breakdown scores peak power 46 from a vertical jump, power repeatability 65 from a 30-second countermovement jump, change of direction and agility 75 from a single-leg lateral hop, and upper body endurance 41 from 60 seconds of push-ups. An overall index of 57 reads Competitive on a four-band gauge, evidence based and age and sex normed. A seven-point decrease since the last result is flagged as beyond measurement variation. Strengths are change of direction and power repeatability; focus areas are upper body endurance and peak power.
An Athletic Capacity Index result — age and sex normed, change flagged against measurement variation
A Kinelitics cohort analysis screen. A scatter plot sets VO2max in millilitres per kilogram per minute against peak power in watts for a cohort of 120 people, with selectable axes, filters for gender and age group, and a quarterly timeline slider set to Q2 2025. Each point carries a trajectory line showing where that person has moved since earlier quarters, and a shaded band marks the leading edge of the cohort.
A cohort on two measures at once — each line a client's change across quarters

In practice

Queensland's biggest athlete talent search.

The Queensland Academy of Sport runs its statewide talent identification programme on this technology, deployed as YouFor2032 — the largest remote athlete screening programme in Queensland's history.

Young Queenslanders aged 13 and over can complete a validated movement assessment from home, in school, or in their local community. No travel to a sports institute. No specialist equipment. The same assessment that would previously have required an AIS-calibre lab, delivered on a phone.

The YouFor2032 Talent Search app shown on a phone, badged Queensland Academy of Sport and Queensland Government, with an athlete in RACQ-branded kit.

Delivered in partnership with the Queensland Academy of Sport and the Queensland Government.

Behind the product

The science behind Kinelitics.

Kinelitics is built on computer vision and movement science research validated against laboratory motion capture at the University of Queensland, and deployed at state scale by the Queensland Academy of Sport. The measurement rigour behind the product is on the public record — not an internal benchmark.
